MiniBio is a compact airborne bioaerosol module for monitoring and early warning of biological hazards in complex environments. Using a multi-sensor approach, it measures aerosol particle size and concentration and assesses whether particles represent a biological threat.

MiniBio is supplied as a module for integration rather than as a finished detector, so an equipment manufacturer or system integrator can build bioaerosol monitoring into their own product without developing the sensing chain from scratch.
Its function is continuous discrimination: the module monitors airborne concentrations of pollen, spores, bacteria and viruses in real time, and distinguishes biological particles from the general particulate background. Because it also measures PM2.5, PM10 and other airborne particulate matter, one module can serve both air-quality reporting and biological early warning.
The module runs continuously, 24 hours a day, and is compact, lightweight and durable enough for deployment in complex environmental conditions rather than controlled installations. A complete communication protocol is provided for secondary development, so integration and data handling can be designed around the host system.
