VP200 is a handheld photoionization gas detector that measures trace, ppb-level concentrations of volatile organic compounds and alarms when thresholds are exceeded. It detects over 200 VOCs and also alarms for inorganic toxic gases including ammonia, phosphine, arsine and hydrogen sulfide.

VP200 is designed for work where exposure is the risk rather than an immediate explosive hazard: leak surveys, confined-space entry, industrial hygiene rounds and incident perimeters, where concentrations matter long before they reach a level anyone can smell.
One instrument serves two working styles. In diffusive mode it is compact and wearable, monitoring the air around the person carrying it throughout a shift. In pump-suction mode the same device becomes an active survey tool for checking specific points, joints and enclosures. The PID sensor's detection range is adjustable to suit the task.
Photoionization gives wide range, rapid response and stable readings without a radioactive source, which simplifies transport and storage. A man-down remote alarm calls for help if the operator stops moving, and wireless communication links the detector to a mobile app and monitoring platform so readings are visible beyond the person holding it.
